Albin "Al" Joseph Borden, Jr., 77, of Lampe, MO, passed away surrounded by his family May 26, 2023 in Branson Cox Medical Center. He was born September 1, 1945, in Sewickley, PA, to Albin and June Borden.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Rosemary Borden; daughter, Valerie Bittick; son, Steven Joseph Borden; grandchildren, Nicole, Matt, Ashley, Amy, Max, Sam, and Madison; great-grandchildren, Jersey, Collin, Eloise, Hugo, and Jeffery; brother, William Borden; sisters, Karen and Debbie; and many nieces and nephews that he loved.

Al proudly served in the United States Army from 1963-1966 and was honorably discharged. He went on to work for the TWA Airlines from 1968 to 2002 and retired from American Airlines.

Al loved to fish, hunt, and watch baseball and football. He was active at Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church in Kimberling City, MO and the Knights of Columbia at Immaculate Conception in Old Monroe, MO until his illness.

Al was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved his family so very much and he will be dearly missed. He also loved his neighbors and the neighborhood in which he lived. He never met a stranger and would help anyone. He made it a point to contact friends on a regular basis to check on them. Al will be missed by all!
